The Golden State Warriors have signed guard Yuri Collins to a training camp deal, according to Keith Smith.

The 23-year-old guard will have an opportunity to compete for a roster spot ahead of the 2024-2025 NBA season.

Collins went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft. He joined the Warriors for the 2023 Summer League but was waived shortly after. He then signed with the Santa Cruz Warriors, the G League affiliate of Golden State.

Last season, Collins averaged 6.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 5.1 assists in 24.8 minutes per game for Santa Cruz.

As a college player, Collins starred for Saint Louis University, where he led all of NCAA Division I in assists during his junior year. He averaged 11.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 7.9 assists per game that season. His 20-assist performance against Tennessee State set a school record and tied for the fourth-most assists in a single game in Division I history.

Collins initially declared for the 2022 NBA Draft after his standout junior year but withdrew and returned to Saint Louis for his senior season. He continued to impress, although he ultimately went undrafted.
