TJ Ford thought becoming temporarily paralyzed during a pickup game after his sophomore year at Texas along with NBA guard Jay Williams getting in a motorcycle accident led to the Chicago Bulls selecting Kirk Hinrich over him in the 2003 draft (Hinrich went 7th to Bulls/Ford 8th to Milwaukee Bucks).
