Terry Rozier, who missed the end of last season due to neck spasms, has provided an update on his recovery.

The 30-year-old guard, who has been working out at the Miami Heat’s practice court at Kaseya Center, shared his progress with the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

He is not yet fully cleared for five-on-five action but has been participating in on-court drills and playing three-on-three.

Rozier stated, “I would say not totally fully, fully, fully cleared playing five-on-five, but I am doing every on-court activity, playing a little bit three-on-three.” He added that he expects to move up to full five-on-five play in the next couple of weeks as his recovery progresses.

The injury, which had Rozier in a neck brace during the final stretch of last season, sidelined him just as he was making his mark with the Heat.

Rozier joined the Heat in January 2024 after a trade with the Charlotte Hornets that sent Kyle Lowry and a protected first-round pick to Charlotte.

Since arriving in Miami, Rozier has been a consistent starter for the team. He averaged 16.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 31.5 minutes per game, solidifying his role in the Heat’s backcourt.
