Troy Brown Jr. is scheduled to hold a workout with the Golden State Warriors this week. The Warriors currently have two contracts with partial non-guaranteed terms available and are also planning to evaluate Davis Bertans during this period.
Brown played in a total of 59 games last season split between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Detroit Pistons. Over those appearances, he averaged 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game, spending an average of 14.0 minutes on the court each game.
Originally drafted 15th overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards, Brown came out of the University of Oregon and has since been looking to find his footing in the league.
