The Indiana Pacers have signed TJ McConnell to a four-year, $44.8 million extension, according to NBA insider Michael Scotto.
The contract includes specific financial details and terms that reflect the Pacers’ strategic planning.
In the 2025-26 season, McConnell is set to earn $10.2 million, followed by $11 million in 2026-27.
The third year of the contract, 2027-28, comes with an $11.8 million salary, but only $5 million is guaranteed.
The final year, 2028-29, also features an $11.8 million salary, with the team holding an option to continue the contract.
Last season, McConnell contributed significantly to the Pacers’ backcourt. He averaged 10.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game, making the most of his 18.2 minutes on the floor.
McConnell has been a consistent presence for Indiana, known for his defensive intensity and playmaking abilities.
