Free agent guard Jordan Goodwin has agreed to a camp deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. NBA insider Chris Haynes confirmed the signing on X.
The 25-year-old guard previously split last season between the Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies. During his stint with these teams, he averaged 6.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.
Goodwin began his NBA journey with the Washington Wizards, signing in September 2021. After being waived by the Wizards, he joined the Capital City Go-Go, where he averaged 15.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.
In December 2021, he earned a 10-day contract with the Wizards but returned to the Go-Go after it expired. The Wizards re-signed Goodwin for training camp in 2022, converting his deal to a two-way contract later that year. By February 2023, Goodwin secured a multi-year contract with the Wizards.
Goodwin was traded to the Suns in June 2023 as part of a deal that included Bradley Beal. In February 2024, he was involved in a trade to the Brooklyn Nets but was waived the following day.
He subsequently signed a 10-day contract with the Grizzlies on February 13, 2024, before securing a two-way contract with the team later that month.
