Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is reportedly getting married this weekend in Greece.
According to Drake Bentley of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the secret ceremony is taking place from August 30 to September 1 at Costa Navarino, a luxury resort area on the southwest coast of Greece.
The wedding, involving Antetokounmpo and his longtime partner Mariah Riddlesprigger, has been kept private, with no official details released.
Signs indicate that the event is indeed happening, with various social media posts hinting at the celebration.
Hailee Lopez, wife of Bucks center Brook Lopez, shared Instagram photos from Greece, featuring Riddlesprigger in a white dress and “bride” crown.
Former Bucks executive Alex Lasry also posted images from Greece, adding to the speculation about the wedding.
Fashion designer George Papadogamvros shared a photo of Antetokounmpo in his shop, possibly being fitted for his wedding suit, about 11 weeks ago.
Approximately 200 guests are expected, including high-profile individuals like LeBron James and Serena Williams, although Real Madrid commitments may affect Kylian Mbappé’s attendance.
Antetokounmpo and Riddlesprigger, who began their relationship in 2014, have three children: 4-year-old Liam, 3-year-old Maverick, and 11-month-old Eva.
Their marriage marks a significant milestone in their relationship, celebrated in the picturesque setting of Greece.
