Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma recently has voiced his opinion about Vice President Kamala Harris, stating that she is “no more in charge than Joe Biden.”
Kuzma’s remark was in response to a tweet by woke businessman Mark Cuban, who praised Harris for “redefining the Democratic Party.”
Cuban had tweeted, “Kamala Harris is defining her own policies, and the Democratic Party is falling in line with her. She literally is redefining the party.”
Kuzma replied, “No more in charge than Joe I’m confused lol,” indicating his skepticism about Harris’s influence compared to President Biden, who is in mental decline.
Kuzma’s comments led to backlash from some Democratic supporters, who criticized Kuzma for his political stance.
One X user pointed out Kuzma’s previous desire to move to Canada due to fears of Donald Trump winning the presidency, suggesting that Kuzma’s newfound wealth had changed his perspective.
Kuzma responded by explaining that his views have evolved over time and that he now forms his own opinions.
He replied, “Brother I was like 20 years old lol what happened since is I stopped following what everyone says is right and made my own observations right or wrong… but that’s objective.”
The conversation continued with users reflecting on political dynamics, including one who noted, “It starts with our parents. They were blind voting Democrat without any information on policies. This is 100% a fact. When you get older a lot of the shit goin on in politics starts looking like a clown show.”
Kuzma agreed, replying, “Amen… and on both sides bro!”
Despite the criticism, Kuzma received support from others who appreciated his candidness.
One user tweeted, “Kuz I had no idea you were a real one, respect,” to which Kuzma responded by criticizing the state of California under Democratic leadership.
Kuzma replied, “Have people seen the state of California these days? Lol,” highlighting the failures of the state’s leftist policies.
