The San Antonio Spurs will fully guarantee Julian Champagnie’s $3 million salary for the 2024-25 season.
According to NBA insider Michael Scotto, the decision ensures Champagnie’s financial security for the upcoming year.
Champagnie, 23, started 59 of 74 games for the Spurs last season, demonstrating his importance to the team.
He shot 36.5 percent from three-point range during the 2023-24 season.
Champagnie is in the second year of a four-year, $12 million contract, with the final year being a team option.
Last season, he averaged 6.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 19.8 minutes per game.
