The New York Knicks have re-signed Precious Achiuwa, bringing back the 24-year-old forward for another season.
Achiuwa averaged 7.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists over 24.2 minutes in 49 games for the Knicks last season.
He joined the Knicks from the Toronto Raptors on December 30, 2023.
In the 2024 NBA Playoffs, Achiuwa helped the Knicks reach the second round, posting 5.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks over 20.5 minutes in nine games.
Achiuwa’s career averages are 7.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.0 assists over 19.9 minutes in 263 games, playing for the Heat, Raptors, and Knicks.
Originally from Port Harcourt, Nigeria, Achiuwa was drafted 20th overall by the Miami Heat in the 2020 NBA Draft out of Memphis.
