New York Knicks big man Precious Achiuwa talked about his activity level when playing center after Tuesday’s 111-105 preseason home win vs. the Charlotte Hornets (20 points/10 offensive rebounds/6 defensive rebounds/3 assists/8-15 FG/2-3 3-PT/2-2 FT/+1 +/-).

“For me, it’s just the versatility of my game. Just being able to see the game, see what the defense is doing, especially when I have a five on me, then he’s gonna have to move around a lot. A lot of fives don’t wanna play that way, they mostly want to pick-and-roll, roll to the basket. They don’t like to call multiple actions, so when I’m in that position, I understand, ‘OK, I gotta create action, create movement, that way the defense gets disrupted and we’ll get easier shots.”
