Aron Baynes is a replacement for Marijonas Petravicius who is too expensive to keep for Rytas. The new center of Lietuvos Rytas signed a 2-year contract with the club. However, if he gets a guaranteed NBA contract, Rytas would have to look for another player.

Jonas Vainauskas, Lietuvos Rytas Chairman of the Board, said to lrytas.lt that the club should announce the signature of a new point guard next week. According to him, there should be several players coming to complete the roster.
