NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski has confirmed that free agent guard Kyle Lowry will rejoin the Philadelphia 76ers on a one-year deal, as announced by Lowry himself on Instagram.
Lowry’s return to the 76ers comes after a brief stint with the Charlotte Hornets earlier this year, where he was traded alongside a first-round draft pick in exchange for Terry Rozier on January 23, 2024.
His contract with the Hornets was bought out just a few weeks later, paving the way for his return to Philadelphia, where he signed on February 13, 2024.
During the previous season with the Sixers, Lowry played a crucial role, averaging 8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game in 28.4 minutes of play.
