The Detroit Pistons are adding Paul Reed to their roster, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.
The Pistons claimed Reed off free agency waivers, with the forward/center joining Detroit in the second season of a three-year, $24 million deal.
Reed, who started his NBA career with the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2020-21 season, became a free agent after being waived by the Sixers.
This past season, Reed posted career-high averages of 7.3 points and 6 rebounds in 19.4 minutes per game.
