The Philadelphia 76ers have waived small forward Paul Reed.

Reed, who joined the team in the 2020-21 season as a rookie, is now entering free agency.

According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the decision to waive Reed comes as his contract for next season is non-guaranteed.

During the past season, Reed showed improvement, averaging career-highs of 7.3 points and 6 rebounds per game.

His playing time averaged 19.4 minutes per game, reflecting his growing role within the team.

Reed’s departure opens up roster flexibility for the 76ers as they navigate the offseason.
