The Los Angeles Lakers have bolstered their roster by signing Pittsburgh small forward Blake Hinson.
NBA insider Michael Scotto reported that Hinson agreed to a two-year, two-way contract with the Lakers.
Hinson, who went undrafted this year, started his college career at Ole Miss.
During his sophomore season, Hinson averaged double figures in points and made significant contributions across the board.
After transferring to Iowa State, Hinson faced a setback due to a medical condition but persevered in his basketball journey.
Hinson’s determination and skill set led him to another transfer, this time to Pittsburgh, where he excelled in the ACC.
In his first season with the Panthers, Hinson earned second-team All-ACC honors, highlighting his scoring ability and impact on the court.
In his final season at Pitt, Hinson earned first-team All-ACC honors, averaging 18.5 points per game and setting a school record with 110 made three-pointers.
