The Chicago Bulls are facing challenges in trading two-time All-Star guard Zach LaVine, as reported by ESPN NBA Front Office insider Bobby Marks.
Marks revealed that despite efforts by the Bulls to move LaVine, there is currently no market for the talented guard.
“There is no market for Zach LaVine. They are trying to give him away and attach a first round pick. I’ve been told that by multiple, multiple people,” Marks said.
LaVine, who signed a lucrative five-year, $215 million contract, still has three years left on his deal.
During the recent season, injuries limited LaVine to only 23 games, where he managed to average 19.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game in 34.9 minutes of play.
Despite LaVine’s scoring prowess and versatility, his contract size and injury history have deterred potential suitors.
The Bulls’ attempts to include a first-round draft pick to facilitate a trade have so far yielded no positive responses.
