Seth Curry, who arrived at the Charlotte Hornets from the Dallas Mavericks during the past season’s trade deadline, is now a free agent.
According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Hornets have decided to waive Curry, though there is mutual interest in negotiating a new deal in July free agency.
During the recent season, Curry contributed an average of 9 points and 2 rebounds per game, playing for the Hornets.
The decision to waive Curry comes as the Hornets had a deadline approaching to guarantee his contract for the 2024-2025 season.
As a seasoned shooter, Curry brings valuable perimeter scoring to any team in need of outside shooting.
