The Brooklyn Nets have secured their starting center Nic Claxton with a significant new contract.

NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed the news on X, reporting that Claxton will sign a four-year, $100 million deal to remain with the Nets.

Claxton’s new contract marks a substantial increase from his previous two-year, $17 million deal.

During the last season, Claxton showcased his skills, averaging 11.8 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in nearly 30 minutes per game.

His versatility and ability to impact games both defensively and offensively have been crucial to the Nets’ success.
