Indiana Fever/X

NaLyssa Smith scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Caitlin Clark contributed 16 points and seven assists, leading the Indiana Fever to a 91-79 victory over the Atlanta Dream on Friday night.

The game, played in front of a record-breaking crowd of 17,575 at State Farm Arena, set a new franchise record for Atlanta’s single-game home attendance, surpassing the previous record of 11,609 from their inaugural game in 2008. The venue, home to the Atlanta Hawks, was chosen due to high ticket demand to see Clark, the No. 1 draft pick.
