The Indiana Pacers find themselves on the brink of elimination following a heart-wrenching Game 3 defeat against the Boston Celtics.

Despite a strong start and commanding leads throughout the game, the Pacers faltered in the crucial moments, allowing the Celtics to snatch victory and take a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Jrue Holiday emerged as the hero for the Celtics, displaying resilience and clutch play down the stretch.

Holiday’s late-game heroics, including a crucial three-point play, a game-saving steal, and ice-cold free throws, sealed the fate of the Pacers and left them facing a daunting task to keep their season alive.

Jayson Tatum led Boston in scoring with 36 points. He also grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out eight assists. Jaylen Brown contributed significantly with 24 points, while Al Horford added 23 points.

While the Pacers showed determination and fought valiantly, missing Tyrese Haliburton due to injury proved to be a significant setback.

Andrew Nembhard led the Pacers’ offensive charge with a career-high 32 points, supported by strong performances from T.J. McConnell (23 points), Myles Turner (22 points), and Pascal Siakam (22 points).

Despite the Pacers’ spirited effort and the support of a passionate home crowd, the Celtics’ resilience and composure ultimately proved too much to overcome.

With their backs against the wall, the Pacers must regroup and find a way to stave off elimination in Game 4.

The Celtics, on the other hand, are one win away from securing their second NBA Finals trip in three years.
