NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Detroit Pistons have hired Trajan Langdon as the franchise’s new President of Basketball Operations, bringing his expertise from the New Orleans Pelicans to lead the organization’s future endeavors.

Langdon’s tenure with the Pelicans under President David Griffin has been marked by the development of a competitive roster, earning him recognition within NBA circles.

Prior to his role in New Orleans, Langdon gained experience with the Brooklyn Nets under the guidance of Sean Marks.

Before transitioning to the front office, Langdon spent three seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers as a player before venturing to Europe where he became a EuroLeague star.
