Baskonia has inked a contract extension with shooting guard Markus Howard, ensuring his presence until the culmination of the 2027-28 season.
Howard, aged 25, had a remarkable season, earning the prestigious 2023-24 Alphonso Ford Top Scoring Trophy in the EuroLeague, averaging 19.5 points per game.
His stellar performance culminated in 759 points, the highest tally by any EuroLeague player in a single season, coupled with a record-breaking 148 three-pointers, surpassing the previous record set by Alexey Shved.
In his two seasons with Baskonia, Howard has maintained an average of 17.1 points per game across 72 EuroLeague appearances.
