USC guard Bronny James has received medical clearance from the NBA’s Fitness to Play Panel, allowing him to fully participate in the 2024 NBA Draft process. James underwent surgery last summer for a congenital heart defect and spent months recovering before making his collegiate debut in December.
Despite his health setback, James played 25 games for the Trojans in his freshman season, averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. With his medical clearance, James is expected to remain in the draft, though he has until May 29 to withdraw and return to college basketball.
