The Boston Celtics dominated the Cleveland Cavaliers 120-95 in Game 1 of Eastern Conference semifinals at TD Garden.
Led by Jaylen Brown’s 32 points and Derrick White’s seven 3-pointers, the Celtics surged past the Cavaliers with a commanding performance.
In addition to Brown and White’s standout contributions, Jayson Tatum chipped in with 18 points and 11 rebounds, further solidifying the Celtics’ control of the game. Payton Pritchard contrivuted 16 points off the bench, while Jrue Holiday added 14 points.
Despite Donovan Mitchell’s 33-point effort for the Cavs, Boston’s collective effort proved too much for Cleveland to handle.
Evan Mobley recorded a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Darius Garland contributed 14 points.
With Game 2 set to take place in Boston, the Celtics will look to maintain their momentum and secure another victory against the Cavaliers.
