The Los Angeles Lakers will receive a boost in their frontcourt with big man Christian Wood returning to play in Game 3 of their first-round series against the Denver Nuggets.

Wood, who underwent knee surgery in mid-March, hasn’t played since before the All-Star break. Before his injury, he was averaging 6.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game off the Lakers’ bench.

After losing Game 1 in Denver, the Lakers will look to bounce back in Game 2 on Monday before returning home for Game 3 on Thursday, April 25.
