Trae Young, amidst swirling trade rumors, reaffirms his commitment to a team-first mentality, emphasizing collective success over individual accolades.

Despite his undeniable talent, Young dismisses the notion of needing to be the primary option, prioritizing team cohesion and victory above all else.

“People may think that I have to feel like I’m the best player on the team or the first option, I’m not that way. I’ve never been that way. I’m just a guy that’s trying to get everybody involved and win the game. I know when we win, everybody eats,” Young said, per Brad Rowland.

In his sixth year in the league, Young averaged 25.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 10.8 assists in 36 minutes per game.
