Charlotte Hornets rookie Nick Smith Jr. knows that his basketball journey has been far from easy over these last couple of years.

“I’d say the past two years been rough for me, just on the simple fact that I tore my MCL going into college the first day in the game day last year, just trying to figure my game back out, trying to feel comfortable, trying to learn a new game as the NBA. But just keep growing, I feel like me just keep growing as a player and as a person and trying to get better organization-wise and learning the game every day, I feel like I’ll be a good player.”
