As the Charlotte Hornets seek a replacement for Steve Clifford, who is transitioning to a front office role, the team continues its comprehensive search for a new head coach.

In an effort to find the right fit for the organization, the Hornets have conducted preliminary interviews with Lakers assistant coach Jordan Ott and former Vanderbilt and Raptors G-League coach Jerry Stackhouse, among others.

Stackhouse, known for his extensive playing and coaching experience, presents a strong candidate for the Hornets’ coaching vacancy.

The coaching search also includes interviews with other notable NBA assistant coaches, such as David Adelman from the Denver Nuggets, Charles Lee from the Boston Celtics, and Jordi Fernandez from the Sacramento Kings.

With the offseason in full swing, the Hornets are leaving no stone unturned as they aim to make a pivotal decision regarding their coaching staff.
