Negotiations between Zalgiris and potential investor Igor Kolomoysky are coming closer to a successful conclusion, according to lrytas.lt The final decision will be made today. Zalgiris president Arvydas Sabonis arrived from Spain to join the negotiations.
It is though that the new investor will be PrivatBank which is a part of Privat Group. As it was announced earlier, Zalgiris should receive $2-5 million from the Ukrainian investors.
One of the key questions during negotiations was the club's name. In the end it was decided to keep original club name without adding investor's name to it.
