Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal has voiced his apprehensions about the Milwaukee Bucks’ playoff journey, citing inconsistency in effort and focus as critical issues.

Despite boasting star power with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, the Bucks’ lack of consistent championship-level effort could jeopardize their postseason success.

“They don’t have championship effort all the time and they have a lack of focus. … Until they fix the effort and the focus, they can be bounced out the first round,” O’Neal said.

Currently occupying the second spot in the Eastern Conference, the Bucks have struggled with a four-game losing streak and a total of ten losses in their last 16 outings.

Last season’s playoff disappointment serves as a cautionary tale for the Bucks, who, despite clinching the top seed in the East, suffered an unexpected first-round exit at the hands of the Miami Heat.
