In a thrilling comeback victory, Joel Embiid’s return to the court propelled the Philadelphia 76ers (41-35) to a 109-105 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder (52-23) on Tuesday night.

Embiid, making his first appearance in nine weeks after knee surgery, showcased his dominance with 24 points, seven assists, and six rebounds, instilling confidence in the Sixers’ postseason prospects.

Chet Holmgren led the Thunder with 22 points, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win as the Sixers staged a remarkable comeback in the fourth quarter.

Trailing by 11 points with just over seven minutes remaining, the Sixers rallied behind Kelly Oubre Jr.’s timely three-pointer and clutch free throws from Embiid, ultimately seizing control of the game.

Tobias Harris contributed 18 points, six rebounds, and four assists for the Sixers, while Paul Reed added 12 points and nine assists off the bench.

Despite missing key players, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams, the Thunder put up a spirited effort.

Following the defeat, the Thunder dropped to third place in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, the 76ers stayed in eighth place in the East.
