The New York Knicks are on the brink of a significant boost as Mitchell Robinson’s return to the court looms large, offering renewed depth in the absence of injured star Julius Randle.

According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Robinson has been upgraded to questionable for the Knicks’ upcoming matchup against the Toronto Raptors, signaling a probable return after a prolonged recovery from ankle surgery.

Robinson’s imminent comeback comes as a ray of hope for the Knicks, who have missed his defensive prowess and rebounding presence in the paint since his absence from action since December 8.

This season Robinson is averaging 6.2 points and 10.3 rebounds in 29.2 minutes per game.
