Chicago Bulls’ veteran DeMar DeRozan shared his thoughts on being the league leader in minutes played this season.

Despite his age, the 34-year-old remains at the forefront of the action, averaging 37.7 minutes per game.

DeRozan attributes his durability to his singular focus on basketball, stating that he doesn’t engage in activities that drain his energy outside of the sport.

“I don’t have other hobbies that cause me to exert any energy, you know. So I try to take care of myself the best I can. And I just love hooping. I love playing the game, no matter how many minutes it is. I just love being out there,” DeRozan said, per Cody Westerlund.

DeRozan’s dedication to his craft is evident in his consistent production, contributing 23.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game.
