Washington Wizards interim head coach Brian Keefe spoke highly of rookie Bilal Coulibaly’s play as a starter after Saturday’s 127-98 road loss vs. the Chicago Bulls (15 points/8 rebounds/2 assists/1 steal/5-9 FG/1-3 3-PT/4-8 FT).

“I think Bilal has really been growing, you can see it each game. Just his activity, eight rebounds tonight, got to the free throw line eight times, his cutting. I thought he did a pretty good job on guarding DeMar DeRozan. I think that’s the first time he’s guarded him, he’s a tricky guy to defend. I think we’re seeing growth each game now that he’s been a starter, so I’ve been really happy with Bilal.”
