NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal reminisced about a humorous yet intense locker room altercation with former Miami Heat teammate Dorell Wright.

During a recent episode of his podcast, The Big Podcast with Shaq, O’Neal recounted the incident, shedding light on a lighter side of his NBA career.

O’Neal, known for his larger-than-life personality, revealed how a playful exchange with then-rookie Wright escalated into a chase around the locker room.

In his typical humorous manner, Shaq described the scene, emphasizing his determination to assert authority even in the most unconventional circumstances.

The anecdote was shared during a conversation with former Heat player Mario Chalmers, who was asked if he had heard any Shaq stories when he joined Miami following O’Neal’s departure.

The four-time NBA champion recalled how Wright failed to do something that Shaq told him as a rookie to do. This made the center mad and he wanted to teach Wright a lesson which resulted in the big man trying to fight the rookie in the shower.

Shaq hilariously recounted the incident, saying, “I was butt naked, he was just getting out the shower but I wanted bro to know you don’t talk. I was going to knock his mother f**king head off. So I get ready to grab him and UD (Udonis Haslem) was like ‘Shaq, I ain’t gonna let y’all fight naked and I ain’t gonna be trying to break two naked guys up. Ya’ll understand?’ And I was like ‘oh s**t I am naked.’ I wanted to kill his a**,” as reported by Scotty White of ClutchPoints.
