In a hard-fought battle against the Los Angeles Lakers, Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves pointed to a glaring free-throw discrepancy.

While the Lakers emerged victorious with a 120-109 win, Edwards highlighted the disparity in free-throw attempts between the two teams.

Expressing frustration in a post-game interview, Edwards emphasized the challenge of competing when the opposing team benefits from a significant advantage at the free-throw line.

“It’s tough,” Edwards said, via ClutchPoints. “It’s tough every night when we don’t get to the free throw line as much as the other team. When one player shoots more free throws than you’re entire team, it’s tough. It’s tough to compete…

“You want to compete and if every time they get the ball, we so called foul them and they get to the free throw line. It’s tough. I don’t know how to explain it man.”

The Timberwolves star pointed out that the Lakers’ Anthony Davis alone attempted as many free throws (13) as the entire Minnesota team.

In terms of total team free-throws, the Lakers were given 29, making the disparity even bigger.
