Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry exited Thursday’s defeat against the Chicago Bulls in the late stages of the fourth quarter, nursing a sprained right ankle. The injury occurred as Curry rolled his ankle while executing a drive into the paint.

As of now, the extent of the injury remains uncertain, and there is no definitive timeline for Curry’s return, as per Warriors head coach Steve Kerr. Postgame, Curry was observed applying ice to his foot, but Kerr provided no further updates on the condition.

Curry’s early career in the NBA was marked by challenges posed by ankle injuries. Numerous sprains to both his right and left ankles led to significant periods of absence during his initial seasons in the league.
