Boston Celtics point guard Jrue Holiday has reportedly pledged his commitment to represent Team USA at the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, sources have confirmed Holiday’s decision to join the star-studded Team USA lineup, adding depth and experience to the national team’s roster.

“Sources tell me (Jrue) Holiday has delivered his commitment to play on Team USA this Summer,” Charania said, adding that the player is highly regarded by USA Basketball.

According to Charania, Holiday is expected to be on the final Team USA roster for the Olympics.

Holiday’s commitment marks his second stint with Team USA, having previously showcased his talents at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where he played a pivotal role in securing a gold medal for the United States.

The seasoned 33-year-old guard brings a wealth of experience and leadership to Team USA, having excelled on both ends of the floor throughout his career in the NBA and on the global stage.

This season Holiday is averaging 13 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 33.3 minutes per game for the Celtics.
