Toronto Raptors rookie Gradey Dick recently spoke about different areas where he can make improvements on the defensive end.

(via Toronto Raptors):

Reporter: “Coach Darko has pointed out he’s very happy with your offense, as it’s been clicking, of course. But defensively, he’s pointed out maybe some gaps, if you want to call it that. Where have you noticed that you want to improve the most defensively?”

Dick: “Just being in the right position, having the knowledge. I feel like you can always get better at getting bigger, faster, stronger. When you do that and be consistent in the weight room, then you’re going to feel a lot better. I already feel a lot better from the start of the season of being out there and guarding different guys and being quicker to beat them to the spots and whatnot. Try to draw charges, whatever can really help the defense or the team. It’s one of those things where I feel like you just get better with my body and it helps me be out there and be prepared.”
