LeBron James, the NBA’s oldest player at the age of 39, continues to excel on the court despite nearing the twilight of his illustrious career.

During the recent All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis, where James celebrated his 20th appearance, he reflected on his future in the league, acknowledging uncertainty about the number of seasons left and contemplating between a farewell tour or a quieter exit akin to Tim Duncan’s.

“I don’t know how many seasons I have left,” he said. “I know it’s not that many. … I was asked this question a couple days ago: ‘Will you take the farewell tour or just Tim Duncan it?’ I’m 50/50… I’ve never been great with accepting praise. So it’s a weird feeling for me.”

The comment sparked a humorous exchange on social media, with r/Warriors on X playfully pointing out James’ incongruity, referencing his “CHOSEN ONE” tattoo emblazoned across his chest.

“My Brother in Christ you literally have CHOSEN ONE tattooed on your chest lmao,” the tweet said.

Adding to the light-hearted banter, Andrew Bogut, renowned for his sharp wit, chimed in with a response to the tweet, punctuating his agreement with three laughing emojis.
