LeBron James is reportedly committed to staying with the Los Angeles Lakers for the upcoming season. In the event of his stay, he is expected to turn down his $51.4 million option in favor of negotiating a new deal with an annual salary increase.

Despite interest from the Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers in trading for James before the deadline, he seems inclined to stick with the Lakers.

However, if he has a change of heart and decides to play for a different team, he would likely use his option as part of a trade arrangement.
