In a thrilling showdown, Buddy Hield, Kelly Oubre Jr., and Tyrese Maxey led the Philadelphia 76ers (32-21) to a narrow 123-121 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers (35-17), ending the Cavs’ nine-game winning streak.

Hield, in just his third game for the Sixers since being acquired from the Indiana Pacers, delivered a 24-point performance, while Oubre Jr. matched his output with 24 points of his own, providing crucial scoring punch for Philadelphia.

Despite the Cavaliers’ valiant late-game surge, highlighted by Donovan Mitchell’s 36-point effort, the 76ers managed to hold on for the victory.

Maxey also played a pivotal role, contributing 22 points along with nine assists and helping Philadelphia secure a much-needed win as they continue to navigate through Joel Embiid’s absence due to meniscus injury.

The Cavaliers, who had been on a dominant run with 17 wins in their last 18 games, fought tooth and nail until the final buzzer, but ultimately fell short in their bid to extend their remarkable winning streak.

Despite the loss, Cleveland received strong performances from Jarrett Allen, who recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Evan Mobley, who added 14 points and 10 boards to the Cavs’ effort.
