The Detroit Pistons have signed forward Tosan Evbuomwan to a 10-day contract, as confirmed by ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.

Evbuomwan, a rookie standout from Princeton’s Sweet 16 team, recently completed a 10-day stint with the Memphis Grizzlies after playing with the G League’s Motor City Cruise this season.

Despite going undrafted in the 2023 NBA draft, Evbuomwan caught the attention of the Pistons during the 2023 NBA Summer League, leading to his initial signing with the team on 2 October 2023. However, he was subsequently waived on 21 October before joining the Motor City Cruise.

Following his brief tenure with the Grizzlies, Evbuomwan returns to the Pistons’ fold, aiming to make a significant impact during his stint with the team.

During his time with the Grizzlies, the 22-year-old appeared in four games, averaging 2.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in nearly 19 minutes per game.

In the G League, Evbuomwan has been a standout performer, averaging 15.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 3 assists per game, further solidifying his credentials as a promising prospect.
