Phoenix Suns center Bol Bol appeared in just his 12th game this season, contributing eight points and seven rebounds in a brief 15-minute appearance against the Washington Wizards.

In the postgame press conference, Suns head coach Frank Vogel expressed admiration for the 24-year-old player, stating, “He looked great. He’s really grown from the time that we were working with him in the summer to try to play within himself, play the right way.”

Vogel emphasized Bol’s transformative impact on the team, noting, “He gives us a whole different dynamic. He’s getting rebounds and tops and stuff that are just above everybody else. You can see this skill set that he has.”

This season Bol is averaging 3.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in 7.8 minutes per game. NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal recently said that Bol could be better than Victor Wembanyama if he wasn’t lazy.
