The Cavaliers (28-16) triumphed over the red-hot Los Angeles Clippers (30-15) as Donovan Mitchell’s 28 points and 12 assists led the charge to a 118-108 win on Monday night.

Jarrett Allen contributed 20 points and 17 rebounds, while Isaac Okoro, added 17 points, all in the first half, contributed significantly as the Cavaliers fended off a late comeback attempt, snapping the Clippers’ five-game winning streak.

Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with 30 points, supported by Norman Powell’s 18, but the late efforts weren’t enough to overcome the Cavaliers’ determined performance.

Paul George, dealing with a sore groin, scored 13 before fouling out, while James Harden finished with 11 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds.
