Lauri Markkanen scored game-high 29 points as the Utah Jazz (23-23) secured a dominant 123-108 win against the struggling Washington Wizards (7-37) on Thursday night.

The victory came amidst a coaching change for the Wizards, with Brian Keefe making his debut as interim coach after Wes Unseld Jr. transitioned to the team’s front office earlier in the day.

Utah’s John Collins contributed significantly with 22 points and 16 rebounds, aiding in snapping the Jazz’s three-game losing streak.

Kelly Olynyk and Jordan Clarkson each added 19 points, solidifying Utah’s well-rounded offensive performance.

On the other side, Kyle Kuzma led the Wizards with 26 points, and Jordan Poole contributed 18, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Jazz’s dominance.
