Josh Giddey has been cleared of any charges after a police inquiry into accusations of inappropriate involvement with an underage girl.
Newport Beach police have concluded their investigation, initiated in November, as no supporting evidence was found to substantiate the allegations against the Oklahoma City Thunder guard.
“After a thorough and exhaustive examination, we have completed our investigation into information that was circulating on social media involving Josh Giddey,” Newport Police PD said in a statement on Wednesday night.
“Our detectives have reviewed all of the available information and were unable to corroborate any criminal activity related to Mr. Giddey.”
