During the Atlanta Hawks’ matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, TNT sideline reporter Dennis Scott revealed insights from a conversation with Hawks guard Dejounte Murray. Among the topics discussed was a rumor suggesting the Spurs might be interested in reacquiring Murray.

Addressing the Spurs speculation, Scott relayed Murray’s response: “Pop (Spurs coach Gregg Popovich) is like a father to me, I would welcome that. But right now, I’m a Hawk, I’m going to stay professional and play the right way.”

Scott emphasized that Murray’s approach to trade rumors aligns with the standard response adopted by most NBA veterans.

“It’s part of the business; I’m going to stay professional and be a good teammate,” Murray conveyed to Scott.
