Sharpshooter Trey Murphy III feels very confident about the 2023-24 New Orleans Pelicans’ loaded roster.

Reporter: “The fact that y’all have so many guys contributing right now, how much does that kind of put pressure on opposing teams when you’ve got so many different guys that can get 10, 15, 20 points on any given night?”
Murphy: “I would say we have the deepest team in the entire league. We have 12, 13, 14 guys that can all play on any team, like all can be rotational players. So I just feel like we’re close to where we need to have that conversation about the Pelicans, for sure, because we’re definitely on the way.”
Reporter: “And what conversation is that?”
Murphy: “You know what conversation that I’m talking about.”
